What Is Happiness?

"When you have once seen the glow of happiness on the face of a beloved person, you know that a man can have no vocation but to awaken that light on the faces surrounding him." (by Albert Camus)

Philosophers have been asking this question since ever and each of them came up with a different definition of what happiness is and so none of them was happy about it. Maybe there isn´t one great happiness for everybody. Maybe each person can be happy in his/her own way and in his/her own time. The mother is happy holding in her arms her new born baby, the botanist has no son but is never the less happy admiring a rare flower while the worker thou has no son nor knows anything about flowers finds happiness in the warm dinner his wife has prepared for him. Happiness is in our souls and has so many springs... We just have to open our hearts and happiness will get inside.
