Think Happy Thoughts

Happy thoughts are part of our lives. In an average day it is estimated that we have around 60,000 thoughts. Have you ever wondered how many of these thoughts are happy thoughts?

It is known that happy people think more happy thoughts than unhappy people. If we think happy thoughts... we create happy perceptions... we create a beautiful aura of light around ourselves... which leads us to happy events. And so we create a exciting circle (where we become even happier).

Happy thoughts connect us with the light, confidence and courage to act... to the power to believe. To live our lives according to our hopes and dreams not somebody else´s.

Jealous, angry and fearful thoughts and feelings take us away from our own path... our own purpose. But a straight path doesn´t admit compromises. This negative thoughts strip us of our power and ability to act effectively. If we think fearful thoughts we become afraid and act defensively. This pushes away other people and other possibilities away from us. And so we become lonelier and more afraid.

The route to a happier life is through happy thoughts. Not just because they make you feel better immediately... but because happier thoughts give you a stronger and more stable foundation to your life. You are in control rather than being bounced around by life.

Little Things That Make Us Happy

Little things are responsible for our happiness. We call them little things because they happen to us every day and we tent to let them pass unnoticed. But there´s where the happy thoughts responsible for out happiness are coming from. When we smile or when someone smiles to us fills our hearts with happiness. It´s so easy to smile... and because of that we think it´s not so important. We came to think that only the things we strugle for are important. That´s soooo wrong. We are happy holding the loved one in our arms, we are happy when we feel the smell of rain or the smell of the forest, first snow makes us happy, chocolate, dinnner with family... Here´s where the happiness is. A new house takes time to become a home, a new house is new only untill it becomes a home... And the real happiness is not in the new house but in the home it becomes. A new house is a big step in our lives... but it´s an empty accomplishment as long as it doesn´t become a home, part from out legacy. Going home makes us happy, entering a new house no that much. The happiness is in the meaning of the things, not in the things themselves.

My Last Doll

Another happy poem of mine... Enjoy!

The pink box was standing there opened.
In my own hands, a doll. The prettiest.
Without name, without past,
Her eyes were fixing me.
I felt in love with her from the very first moment I saw her.
Her dress, my happy thoughts
The hand of the little doll in my hand.
Nobody knew why, not even myself…
Why, why her.
My last doll, my last part of childhood,
My dreams…
Maybe my future life.
A smile from the very passed times was on my knees.
I grew up.
My last doll will be always there, but I won’t.
I will go on, and on, like the spring winds.
I will have always in my poket a part of her dress, a part of her hair –
My childish smile.
One day, you will be there,
Standing on my left –
It will be our wedding day.
From a pink box, left opened many years ago,
A blessing smile
Will make my fell again
The smell of joy of being the luckiest girl in the entire world.
And I will be so, because of that doll – the prettiest one.

The Fountain

The Fountain is like a puzzle that fits together very well. Aronofsky weaves together three stories about the truth and consequences of the search and attainment of eternal life. The stories unfold within past, present and future scenarios that illustrate a perspective on eternal life that is relevant to the historical period and defines development of human consciouness over time.

Aronofsky fills his film with a lyrical beauty, a natural grace and rhythm that tracks the story using the emotional journey of his leads rather than the linear plot lines as his guide. He shifts easily and naturally between time lines, each time period informing and altering the others, the characters slowly learning to grapple with questions of life, death, love gained and soon to be lost.

Fantastic in every sense, this film is indeed poetry, and a beautiful testament to love and the cycle of life and the impermanence of death. A man and a woman, Adam and Eve, trying to break the chains of time and be happy together. This is the ultimate romantic sci-fi movie!

The Alchemist

"The boy didn't know what a person's "destiny" was. It's what you have always wanted to accomplish. Everyone, when they are young, knows what their destiny is. At that point in their lives, everything is clear and everything is possible. They are not afraid to dream, and to yearn for everything they would like to see happen to them in their lives. But, as time passes, a mysterious force begins to convince them that it will be impossible for them to realize their destiny."
"The Alchemist: A Fable About Following Your Dream" by Paulo Coelho

Dreams, symbols, signs, and adventure follow the reader like echoes of ancient wise voices in "The Alchemist ", a novel that combines an atmosphere of Medieval mysticism with the song of the desert. With this symbolic masterpiece Coelho states that we should not avoid our destinies, and urges people to follow their dreams, because to find our "Personal Myth" and our mission on Earth is the way to find "God", meaning happiness, fulfillment, and the ultimate purpose of creation.

"The Alchemist", is an exciting novel that bursts with optimism; it is the kind of novel that tells you that everything is possible as long as you really want it to happen.

"The Alchemist" is a novel that may appeal to everybody: all of us have dreams, and are dying for somebody to tell us that they may come true. The novel skillfully combines words of wisdom, philosophy, and simplicity of meaning and language, which makes it particularly readable and accounts for its bestselling status.

"The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho is a must read. It´s a book that could change your life forever.

Happy Thoughts

"To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe." “Happy Thoughts” by Toby Reynolds

Happy thoughts or positive thoughts are very important. There is power in our thoughts and we can shape our lives throu them. We always say and think that we would like our lives to be like this or like that. Once we know what we want we can follow the path much easier. We are given the means to become what we want to become, it´s just that sometimes it is a bit difficult for us to see this. If you are true to yourself you can accomplish a lot.

"If you really want something to happen, the whole universe conspires so that your wish comes true." "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho

My Favorite Things

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things

Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things

When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad

(Maria - Sound of Music lyrics)
